Position Summary:
As an Inside Sales Representative at Variantyx, you will be at the forefront of connecting healthcare providers with cutting-edge genetic testing solutions. Your role will involve identifying and engaging potential clients through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn networking. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining and growing client relationships after onboarding, ensuring continued satisfaction and business growth. The ideal candidate is motivated, adaptable to change, and thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach to healthcare professionals and organizations.
- Independently source and identify potential leads through online research, industry events, and other creative methods.
- Manage the client relationship post-onboarding, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth within accounts.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Variantyx’s WGS products and services.
- Build relationships with potential clients, effectively communicating the value of our solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for reaching sales goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the CRM system (Salesforce).
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to provide valuable insights during sales conversations.
- Adapt to frequent changes in workflows, products, and priorities while maintaining a high level of productivity.
Position Requirements
- 1-2 years of inside sales experience, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Proven success in cold calling, email outreach, and lead generation.
- Experience finding and qualifying leads independently.
- Exceptional communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable adapting to changing workflows, products, and market demands.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to conferences, industry events, in-person client meetings.
- Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce, G-Suite, and Microsoft applications.
- Experience working in the medical or healthcare industry is a plus but not required.
